After sitting in the shed for the winter, dad took it out and fixed it up for the 06 season. Mom, dad and adam went out
to the track on may 6th with the mustang ready to go. It drove its fastest ever with one of the reaction times being an .000!
Go mom! That run got a 10.852 for the quarter mile, her 3rd fastest run of the day. Lynne best that day was a 10.824!!! Her
fastest time ever!!
June 4 - Cedar Falls Raceway #4
- Won two rounds (no buy back)
- Fastest pass of the day 10.829 (on 10.82 dial)
- Best reaction time .007 - second round win
June 3 - Cedar Falls Raceway #3
- Won first round
- Second round red light -.012
- Fastest pass 10.94 (major head wind and the Stang is not aerodynamic!)
- Best reaction time .022 third time trial

- Pro tree, Open Comp Eliminator class
- Dial is set to .10 under fastest qualifying pass
- Lifting off throttle just past the 1000'
- Dial-in set to 10.89 for Sunday elims
- Best reaction time .004 (did I mention PRO TREE?)
- RTs for the weekend: .014, .004, .013, .031, .144, .010, .037
- 29 car field; qualified 16
- First round scramble - managed to line up against one of the two guys who went to the finals - .045
RT - 10.905 on 10.89 dial
- Changed slicks to MT 29.5x10.5 (from Hoosier 29x12) - lost a tenth, but moved shift points back and
crossing line at 6800 RPM
- Great weather - beautiful facility - we'll get 'em next year!

- Best RT .008 - first round - good for second round bye

- Won four rounds (first round buy back)
- Hood blew off at finish line after round 4 win
- Scrambled for air cleaner (thanks to Gene Hinders!)
- Fastest ET - 10.748 - third time trial
- Best RT - .003 - third round win
